The beneficiaries of the investments will be 240,000 inhabitants who were not connected to drinking water and 70,000 who did not have access to the sewerage network. Following the implementation of this project, the degree of connection to drinking water supply systems will increase from 79 to 95%. | |

In this contract, 6 biodiversity studies were carried out for the protected natural areas related to the project „Sustainable management of Natura 2000 sites ROSCI0088 Gura Vedei-Saica-Slobozia (without surface overlapping with ROSPA0108 Vedea-Danube) and ROSPA0090 Ostrovul Lungu-Gostinu” . The European funded project had as beneficiary the Bio Romania Organic Farmers Association, and the contract value was 2,070,420.82 lei. Within this contract, a study was conducted on the abiotic environment, two inventory-mapping studies of the species and habitats of community interest within the site, along with two conservation status studies for them, as well as an evaluation study of the conservation status of the anthropic impact on the sites within the project. The contract involved the development of a study which analyzed the existing data on the distribution and current state of conservation of Community invertebrate species, selecting the set of parameters to be monitored, establishing the method, frequency and areas where observations were made, travel in the field for validation, updating and completion of data, establishing the format in which the data were delivered, processing and interpreting the data, entering them in the national computer system (Computer System for Monitoring Species and Habitats of Community Interest – SIMSHAB), reporting intermediate / final results and respectively the reporting of the conservation status of the species in the format required by art. 17 of the Habitats Directive. | |
Through this contract, CCAT elaborated the Synthetic Guide for monitoring invertebrate species of community interest in Romania, which received favorable approval from both IBB and the Ministry of Environment and Climate Change. | |
